
In conjunction with the Back-to-School Programme and in collaboration with the Pertubuhan Sukarelawan dan Sosial Daerah Tenom (AKSARA), Yayasan Qhazanah Sabah (YQS) successfully carried out a Community Engagement Initiative at SK Pangi, Tenom, in support of United Nations SDG 4 - Quality Education.
The programme benefited a total of 70 students, ranging from pre-school to Year Six, with the highest number of recipients coming from the pre-school category, involving 17 students.
The initiative focused on providing essential school supplies, including watercolours, colour pencils, drawing blocks, raincoats, and other learning materials, to help students prepare for the new academic session while easing the financial burden faced by their families.
The programme was represented by Majorie Noivont, Executive Director of YQS, together with Mohd Razi Ramli from AKSARA, and in coordination with Headmaster Raymond Richard, reflecting the strong partnership and shared commitment behind the initiative.
This initiative forms part of YQS’s ongoing corporate social responsibility and community development efforts, with a strong focus on education, sustainability, and social well-being, in line with its core objectives.
