YQS REACHES OUT TO FAMILY DEVASTATED BY LANDSLIDE IN KAMPUNG MARAHANG, PAPAR

A tragic landslide struck Kampung Marahang, Papar, on the morning of 15 September 2025, claiming the lives of Benney Binjamis’s wife and two young children. The disaster also destroyed the homes of his mother and two siblings, leaving the family in deep grief and without shelter.
In response, Yayasan Qhazanah Sabah (YQS), led by its Executive Director Majorie Noivont, visited the affected family to extend compassion and support. YQS contributed essential food items, including 10kg of rice, drinking water, and various dry goods, to help ease the family’s immediate hardships.
This humanitarian gesture reflects YQS’s ongoing commitment to standing in solidarity with communities affected by natural disasters and offering relief to those enduring profound loss.
