In the spirit of Syawal, on 26th April 2025, Yayasan Qhazanah Sabah (“YQS”) reaffirmed its dedication to uplifting communities through a heartfelt Corporate Social Responsibility (“CSR”) initiative. The foundation reached out to two orphanages in Tambunan — Rumah Anak Yatim Tambunan (“RAY”) and Pusat Jagaan Rumah Kebajikan (“PJRK”) Makatip — with donations aimed at spreading joy and easing the daily lives of the children and their caretakers.
The contribution included essential household items. These donations not only bring comfort but also symbolize care, solidarity, and compassion for those in need.
Led by Mr. Rudy Jaglul, Deputy Group Chief Executive Officer of Qhazanah Sabah Berhad (“QSB”), accompanied by Grace Prudente, Head of Human Resources & Administration (“HHRA”), and Majorie Noivont, Executive Director of YQS. Together, they shared moments of warmth and togetherness with the children and staff, reflecting the true essence of Hari Raya — kindness and community.
YQS hopes that this initiative inspires continued gesture of generosity and reminds us of all of the importance of standing by the underprivileged, not just during festive seasons but all year round.
