QSB Donated 120kg of Kurma for Ramadan

7th March 2024: With Ramadan being a time for sharing blessings, Qhazanah Sabah Berhad (QSB) shared the spirit of the holy month by donating kurma to surau and mosques.

On Thursday (7th March), about 120kg of kurma were distributed to mosques and surau around Kepayan, Putatan, Papar, Weston, and Sipitang. As a symbolic, a handing over ceremony was held at Masjid Kampung Pelakat, Sipitang, presented by QSB Chairman, YB Datuk Dr Yusof Yacob and Sipitang MP, YB Datuk Matbali Musah.

“This is part of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives for Ramadan. We hope that with this small gesture, we reflect our commitment towards improving the wellbeing of the society," YB Datuk Dr Yusof Yacob said adding that the distribution was part of QSB commitment to positively touch lives in the community.

Also present was QSB Head of Human Resources and Administration, Ms. Grace Prudente @ Norazimah.
