Chairman of Qhazanah Sabah Berhad (QSB), YB Datuk Dr Yusof Yacob said access to health care and education were among priority under his leadership.
“Through Corporate and Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, we are putting resources in education and health is the most equitable and far-reaching intervention that is of much priority to us” he said while welcoming a courtesy call from Persatuan Peduli Rakyat Sipitang (PPRS) at Menara Kinabalu here today.
YB Datuk Dr Yusof however emphasised QSB prioritize its CSR initiatives at State levels, aligned with the Sabah Maju Jaya tagline without intervening the State's existing role.
During the visit, PPRS led by its Chairman Mr. Arthur bin Padan @ Edward expressed his high appreciation for QSB’s continuous effort in assisting the State's welfare through its CSR initiative. He noted that PPRS is ready to coordinate and facilitate cooperation which includes exploring new initiatives to further strengthen ties.
In addition, both sides exchanged views on efforts to protect and promote education in the State, as well as on the people's socio-economic welfare.
