Relocation of KKIA & Development of Aerotropolis Meeting between Qhazanah Sabah Berhad (QSB) and Berjaya Land (B-Land)

Qhazanah Sabah Berhad (QSB) and Berjaya Land (B-Land) held a meeting on the proposed relocation of the Kota Kinabalu International Airport (KKIA) and development of Aerotropolis at Kimanis on May 10th in Kuala Lumpur. The meeting was a continuation of the work that began following the execution of MoU with B-Land (a subsidiary of Berjaya Corporation) on June 30th, 2022.
QSB Chairman YB Datuk Dr. Yusof Yacob, who led the delegation from QSB was accompanied by Group Chief Executive Officer, Encik Ahmad Rizal Dahli and YBhg Datuk Nor Asiah binti Mohd Yusof, Chairman of Berjaya Qhazanah Sabah Sdn Bhd. Also present were the Chief Executive Officer of Berjaya Corporation Tuan Syed Ali Shahul Hameed, Chief Executive Officer of Group Aviation of Berjaya Land Bhd YBhg Datuk Captain Chester Voo and senior officers from both parties.
During the meeting, YB Datuk Dr. Yusof emphasized the importance of any development is to create value that is beneficial for the people and contribute towards the growth of Sabah's economy. The feasibility study report would be presented to the State Cabinet for further deliberation.
