Hosting Iftar and Spreading Joy with Rumah Amal Kasih

In commemoration of the blessed month of Ramadan, Qhazanah Sabah Berhad (QSB) and its group of companies hosted its annual iftar event to celebrate 30 children of Rumah Amal Kasih Kingfisher (RAKK) at The Magellan Sutera on 11th April. 

Chairman of the Group YB Datuk Dr. Yusof Yacob noted the programme is part of Qhazanah Group annual Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) event during Ramadan to foster relations with the stakeholders and community, spreading festive joy to the less fortunate for the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration and to assimilate the meaning of Ramadan which is about gratitude, community, and generosity to those in need.  

During the event, the Group also declared the business zakat obligation for the financial year ending December 31, 2022, amounting to RM125,972.00 and another RM1.05 from its associate company, Celcom Timur (Sabah) Sdn Bhd. 

YB Datuk Dr Yusof was on stage to witness the Group Chief Executive Officer Ahmad Rizal Dahli handing-over the business zakat payment to the representative of MUIS Datuk Haji Mohd. Dandan bin Haji Alidin. Also present during the ceremony were the management of the Group.
